CUCo Security Suite deployment in Fundão

On the 6th of May, Softi9 held a technical workshop at the Business and Services Center of Fundão, bringing together the Municipality of Fundão’s IT team for a session on the deployment and management of CUCo Security Suite devices.

Led by João Paz and Johny Valente, the workshop covered the platform’s centralized management capabilities, including firmware-level Remote Lock and Safe Browsing. These features prevent misuse of deployed devices and ensure a safer and more controlled browsing experience.

The Municipality of Fundão is a strategic partner in the CUCo Blockchain project, developed under Portugal’s Recovery and Resilience Plan. Following the completion of its pilot phase, the project is now entering a production deployment stage.

Over the coming months, more than 250 CUCo Security Suite-enabled laptops and workstations will be deployed across the municipality’s public infrastructure, including administrative facilities, training rooms, libraries and citizen support services.
